1. Acceptance of Terms and Eligibility

By accessing or using this website (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site. The Site is operated under the brand name “Moryvalen” and provides educational content related to handmade blankets and quilting.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site. If you are under the age of 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Site and to create an account. You are responsible for ensuring that your use is lawful in your location.

Moryvalen provides an educational platform focused on sewing and design skills for handmade blankets and quilts. The Site may include written lessons, project outlines, technique guidance, recommended materials, and account-based access features. Content is intended to support learning and personal practice, including fabric selection, stitching and seam control, quilting patterns, layering and batting choices, and finishing methods such as binding.

The Site does not provide professional certification, licensing, or guaranteed outcomes. Sewing results depend on individual practice, materials, equipment, and technique. The Site may be updated, expanded, modified, or removed at any time. We may also restrict access to certain features to protect security, prevent misuse, or comply with legal obligations.

3. Accounts, Registration, and Security

Some features of the Site may require you to register for an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to share your account credentials with others and not to allow anyone else to access the Site through your account. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit Site content without our prior written permission, except as allowed by law.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial learning use. This license does not permit resale, redistribution, or republishing of course materials as your own content, whether free or paid.

6. Prohibited Activities

In addition to the obligations above, you must not use the Site to engage in activities that are harmful, deceptive, or illegal. Prohibited activities include, without limitation:

Sewing involves tools, needles, blades, and heat sources, and you are responsible for safe practices and for following manufacturer instructions for equipment and materials.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moryvalen will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, personal injury, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site.

To the extent that Moryvalen is found liable for any claim, our maximum aggregate direct liability will be limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 EUR, whichever is lower.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moryvalen from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Site, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation, or (d) your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may reference third-party services used for measurement or advertising in our policies. Any third-party websites or services are not controlled by Moryvalen, and we are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. 12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

13. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by sending a written notice describing the issue and the relief requested. We will make a good-faith effort to respond within a reasonable time. The informal resolution period will last 30 days from receipt of your notice, unless both sides agree to extend it.

If the dispute is not resolved within the informal period, either party may bring a claim in the courts specified in the Governing Law and Jurisdiction section.

14. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, attempted to compromise the security of the Site, or used the Site in a way that could create risk or legal exposure. You may stop using the Site at any time.

The following provisions survive termination: Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Jurisdiction, Dispute Resolution, and any other terms that by their nature should survive.

15. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective 14 days after they are posted on this page, unless a change is required by law to take effect sooner. If you continue using the Site after the effective date, you agree to the updated Terms.
